Where should I upload my Access database files?

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Access

    • DETAILS

    You should see a directory named "data" under your website folder.  The data directory is configured with enhanced security which disallow direct download from a web browser.  For security reason, all MS Access database files (*.mdb) should be uploaded to this directory.

    Do not place any other files (e.g., html, asp...etc.) in this folder.

    If you do not have the data directory within your website folder, please create a support ticket. We can create one for you.
