How to Add a domain alias (pointer) in DNP

If you have not created a Top Level Domain with a site or pointed to a website, here are the steps :

  1. Login to DotNetPanel.
  2. Click "Domain" icon.
  3. Click on "Add Domain" button.
  4. Click on "Domain Alias".
  5. Type in the domain pointer name.
  6. Tick "" and choose the site name you want this domain pointer to be pointed to.
  7. Tick "" if you want it to be pointed to an existing mail domain as well.
  8. Click "Add Domain" button.

If you have created a Top Level Domain with a site or pointed to a website, here are the steps :

  1. Login to DotNetPanel.
  2. Click your Package.
  3. Click on Websites.
  4. Click on Web Site Name.
  5. Click on Add Web Site Pointer.
  6. Click on Add Domain.
  7. Enter the Domain Name and Click on Add domain Button.
  8. Select the newly created domain name and Click on Add Pointer.
